Delush Polish - Mad Top Hatter Duo

So today I have a glitter topper duo from Delush Polish layered on the OPI cremes I showed you on yesterday's posts.

Star Gazer is neon glitter mix on a clear base. This applies nice, smooth and even. You can layer this over a lot of different colors. This time I chose OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? and I think they looked just perfect together! This is such a fun polish :)

On this mani I used two thin coats of Star Gazer over OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? and one coat of HK Girl top coat.

Tänään siis vuorossa jokin aika sitten Suomeenkin, CesarsShopiin myyntiin tulleen Delush Polish indiemerkin Mad Top Hatter Duon lakat Star Gazer ja Two Bees in a Pod. Nämä kaksi glitter topperia on yhdistetty eilisissä postauksissa nähtyjen OPI cremejen kanssa.

Star Gazer lakka sisältää neonglitteriä kirkkaalla pohjalla.  Lakka on todella tasaisesti ja hyvin levittyvä eikä glittereitä tarvitse pullosta sen suuremmin onkia. Tätä voi käyttää todella monen eri värisen lakan seurana. Tässä se on yhdistetty OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? cremen kanssa ja lopputulos on mielestäni tosi nätti ja raikas.

Kuvassa siis kaksi kerrosta Star Gazeria OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? lakan päällä sekä HK Girl pikakuivattaja.

Two Bees in a Pod is a lovely black and yellow (hence the name) glitter mix with some holographic glitter to bring on the sparkle. I layered this with OPI Alpine Snow white creme to really make the glitters pop. This already looked very good with just one layer but since I always need my glitter fix I added a second coat. Application was good and smooth. This is very packed with glitter so it's easy to get the coverage you need without having to apply too many layers.

On this mani I used two coats of Two Bees in a Pod over OPI Alpine Snow with HK Girl top coat.

Two Bees in a Pod on raikas kelta-musta glitterpläjäys jossa mukana myös hologlitteriä tuomassa hiukan extrasäihkettä.

Kuvissa kaksi kerrosta Two Bees in a Podia OPI Alpine Snow lakan päällä sekä HK Girl top coat.

New Year's Eve Jindiefest!

Hello everyone!! I want to celebrate New Year's Eve by showing you some nail polish swatches of my favorite indie brand, Jindie Nails. These are all older polishes and I believe most, if not all are still available.

Application and formula on all of these was good. Swatching these reminded me once again why I love Jindies so much. All of these are different and still there is this Jindie look and feeling to them :) Jindie Nails polishes are available at jindienails.com and international customers can find the stockists by clicking here.

Usual indie glitter application instructions apply.

- Make sure polish is well mixed before the application
- To help getting the bigger glitter pieces out of the bottle it's recommended to turn the bottle upside down for a bit
- Let each coat dry for a bit before applying the next to avoid dragging the bigger glitter pieces from the previous coat.
- You can use a dotting tool or an orangewood stick to place/separate the glitter if necessary.
- You might want to use a product like Glitter Food or two coats of top coat for a smoother result.

And remember that the application on these glitter bomb indies is not always as easy as your regular nail polish. To get smooth and beautiful result might sometimes take some practice. I know I didn't always get it right for the first times I tried applying chunky glitter bombs :)

Top coat on all these manicures is of course HK Girl. So here we go!

Candy Land Remix (three coats and two coats of top coat)

Zomboy (two coats and  top coat)

Swoon (three thin coats and top coat)

Pretty Penny (three coats, no undies and top coat)

Moon Walk LE (two coats and two coats of top coat)

Live Out Loud (three coats and top coat)

Water 4 Elephants (two coats with two coats of top coat)

Femme Fire (two coats with two coats of top coat)

I have now swatched all but one Jindie Nails polishes I own. I love all my Jindies and can't wait to see what Jen has up her sleeve for 2014!

***Zomboy and Candy Land Remix were sent for review. Femme Fire and Water 4 Elephants were gifted to me. Live Out Loud, Pretty Penny, Swoon and Moon Walk LE were purchased by me. HK Girl top coat was gifted to me.

Polish Addict Nail Color - Beach Cabana

TGIF and I have just the polish to put you on that relaxed sunny summer weekend mood :D This is Polish Addict Nail Color indie brand's Beach Cabana. A colorful blend of neon purple, neon pink and neon green glitter on a nude crelly base.

On this mani I used three thin coats of Beach Cabana, coat of Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Beach Cabana applies perfectly and the crelly base is smooth and even looking on the first coat. The great formula made it very easy to build up the sandwich effect with three coats.

This was my first experience with Polish Addict Nail Color and I'm very happy with the quality. Polish is beautiful, formula is perfect and application was flawless. Now I can't wait to try the other colors sitting on my "to be swatched" shelf :D

Polish Addict Nail Color is available at their own webstore and us international ladies can do our shopping at Mei Mei's Signatures. You can also follow them at Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Glam Polish - Star Candy (Mei Mei's Signatures exclusive)

Hello again :) Today ended up being another two posts day. I have so many cool polishes to review and show you that I think there will be a few two posts days ahead.

This time I have a fun and bright glitter topper from Glam Polish. This neon explosion is Mei Mei's Signatures exclusive and you can't buy it anywhere else. Star Candy has different shapes and sizes of glitter in several neon colors. It's bright and fun and can be layered over a lot of different base colors. I chose two different ones to try it with.

First I layered it over Delush Polish It Takes Two To Mango. This is two coats of Star Candy and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Second I tried it over a black creme cos I really wanted the colors to pop out. This is a coat of Color Club Where's The Soiree?, two coats of Star Candy and G & G HK Girl top coat.

Application was very good and glitters came out of the bottle easily. Formula is a little thin and runny but as long as you make sure not to have too much polish on the brush it applies just perfectly.

This can be bought from Mei Mei's Signatures along with a lot of other goodies. Service is always great and friendly. Shipping has always been fast but this time it was super fast, five days from Singapore to Finland. Excellent if you ask me!

Jindie Nails - She Blinded me with Science

Late Saturday post for me cos I've had a busy day again. I just really wanted to show another new Jindie Nails summer shade to you guys. This is She Blinded me with Science and it has an insane (in a good way) amount of glitter in it.

Here's the description from the Jindie Nails website: "It has a pale pink crelly base with multiple sizes of neon, holographic and metallic dots, squares, diamonds, rectangles and hex glitters.  This polish features small, medium and large silver holographic dots, small & medium & extra large matte black dots, large metallic turquoise dots plus lime green large metallic dots, white dots and moons plus matte gray moons".

Yes, as I said, insane amount and it's so cool! Jen is truly a genius when it comes to creating these amazing glitterbombs. Like all of her polishes, I absolutely love this one too. I looked at the bottle and just knew I would love it. So, so cool!

This is three thin coats of She Blinded me with Science, a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

She Blinded me with Science has the same excellent crelly based formula as the other new summer shades so application was a piece of cake. There's so much glitter that I let some of it fall back to the bottle to avoid getting it all stuck together to a one big lump. I also turned the bottle upside down to help get out the bigger glitters.

Jindie Nails - Candy Land (Original)

Today I have a classic Jindie Nails polish for you, Candy Land (Original). This must be one of the most famous Jindie Nails polishes and for a good reason. It's just awesome! White crelly polish with a lot of different size hex glitters in several neon colors. It's so bright and fun!

This is three thin coats of Candy Land (Original), a coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and G & G HK Girl top coat.

I have read that some people had issues with the application but I experienced none. White crelly base applied very smoothly and evenly. I turned the bottle upside down for a bit before application and rolled it lightly. The neon glitter is very thin and sometimes the pieces get stuck together. If a big lump of glitter comes out of the bottle I just drop it back in there and dip the brush again. That way I had absolutely no trouble with the application.

Such a pretty polish!

I have a lot of Jindie Nails swatches coming up soon. Just received several bottles today, including some of the new summer shades and I'm gonna start working on the swatches asap :D

ABC Challenge - Y is for yellow

Only one day late this time :D Hopefully I get the last ABC post up in time next week. Wow, I just can't believe we are almost done with this challenge. I'd be super upset if we didn't have another really cool one waiting for us in a near future. Our group is so much fun and I've got to know some amazing ladies along these few months :)

This Y week kinda sneaked up on me. I have been under an impression that I have plenty of Y polishes and I'm covered for that. Now that the week is finally hear none of my Y polishes really called my name. Not even the untried ones. Bleh! So I decided to go with an oldie but goodie. Color Club Volt Of Light is the only well behaving yellow I own. It is very sheer though and requires at least three coats. But I don't see that as a huge problem since it also applies really thin. This is a neon shade and dries semi-matte.

This is three coats of Color Club Volt Of Light with G & G HK Girl top coat.

Volt Of Light has a lot of fine green shimmer and it kinda reminds me of those neon yellow markers that you use to highlight parts of text in your school books. IRL this is screaming bright neon and really glows! This would also make a great base for some nail art. I'm just so busy with all the house stuff that I left it be and just enjoyed the super bright neon yellow on it's own.

Now it's time to go check everyone else's Y manis :)

Jindie Nails - Hot Pink Floyd

Along with the new Spring Chic shades Jindie Nails released Matte Velvet Duo with sTEALth and Hot Pink Floyd. I have already reviewed sTEALth (click here) and today I have Hot Pink Floyd for you. Here's how it's described on Jindie Nails website "It has a super bright neon pink crelly base with iridescent, color shifting squares and hex in blue/purple/green.  It also has bits of real silver flakes throughout!". Like in sTEALth, there's lovely depth to this and it's absolutely stunning with and without top coat.

This is three thin coats of Hot Pink Floyd alone and the last two photos have G & G HK Girl top coat.

With G & G HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat

With G & G HK Girl Fast Drying + Super Shiny top coat

Hot Pink Floyd has the same great formula as sTEALth and application is really smooth. Two coats would be enough for shorter nails but my longer one needed three thin coats.

Matte Velvet Duo is limited time so get yours while these pretties are still around!

Jindie Nails - Nude Beach

Happy Saturday everyone :) Today I have Jindie Nails Nude Beach for you. This one is again in from the new Spring Chic collection and will be available without the star shaped glitter later on. Jen describes this as "Nude crelly base with a mix of metallic sand colored sparkling hex,  iridescent hex, matte white hex & tiny stars plus and abundance of neon orange, neon blue, neon pink, neon purple, neon green & neon yellow hex in several  sizes".

I'm so sorry about my dry, horrible cuticles on this photo. Removing old wall papers, constantly washing my hands, having paint all over my hands, etc. has really done it's job. I spent last night drowning my hands in lotion, cuticle balm and oils. Maybe today I actually will remember to wear gloves :P

Nude Beach applies well and as long as you remember to turn the bottle upside down for a bit before application all the glitter comes out easily. I really like the sand-y nude base color with neon glitters.

This photo doesn't really do this polish any justice and I will be revisiting this one later on. I filed some length off my nails and now I feel like they are a little bit too short for my taste :P So new photos coming when my nails grow back a little and my cuticles look a little less like sandpaper.

Jindie Nails - Pickled Tink

Today I have a limited edition polish for spring 2013 from Jindie Nails. This is Pickled Tink and oh man, I'm in love!!! Here's how Jen describes it " It has a bright hot, neon pink jelly base that can be fully opaque to a crelly finish in about 3 coats.  It has silver and light pink metallic tiny stars, silver and light pink smaller dots and light pink holographic larger dots.  It also has bits of blue, green and purple iridescent, glowing glitters (does not actually glow, just appears to light from within)". She also calls it magical and that it is. I love this shade so much! It really glows and the shade of pink is just perfect!

Pickled Tink is again on the thinner side and application is flawless. I did turn the bottle upside down for a bit before applying each coat. That helps to get the stars and larger dots out easily. Dry time is also fast. Pickled Tink is juicy and squishy looking perfection in the bottle!
