Holiday theme month: Gold and glitter nails

Tällä kertaa kultainen manikyyri. Pohjalla ensin Color Club Editorial lakkaa, joka on kullanvihreä duochrome (yksi monista Chanel Peridot kopioista). Editorialin päälle laitoin siveltimellä Sugarpill Goldilux jauhemaista luomiväriä. Goldilux teki kynnelle aivan upean kultaisen, peilimäisen kiiltävän pinnan, mutta valitettavasti jostain syystä Editorial meni kuplille ja se näkyi myös tuon pinnan läpi pilaten efektin. Jouduin siis pelastamaan tilannetta laittamalla koko kynnelle vielä kerroksen Sephora by OPI Only Gold For Me glitterlakkaa. Lopputulos oli ihan ok. Tuota Goldiluxia koitan vielä joskus uudelleen niin, että laitan eri aluslakkaa ja vain kerroksen Editorialia.

Seuraavaksi pitääkin tehdä kultainen meikki käyttämällä Glodiluxia. Luomiväri on mielettömän hienojakoinen ja runsaspigmenttinen. Yksi upeimmista kultaisista luomiväreistä joita olen nähnyt. Lopputulos voi pohjasta riippuen olla myös erittäin metallinen ja kiiltävä. Itse olen totaalisen rakastunut Sugarpillin meikkeihin ja Black Friday shoppailuhuuman jäljiltä onkin minulle tulossa kaksi neljän luomivärin palettia ja neljä kappaletta lisää näitä ChromaLust Loose Eyeshadow purkkeja.

Sugarpill Goldilux is a stunning gold shade.

This time I went for a golden manicure. I applied two coats of Color Club Editorial, golden duochrome with some green in it, yet another Chanel Peridot dupe. On top of Editorial I applied a thin layer of Sugarpill ChromaLust Loose Eyeshadow Goldilux with a brush. Goldilux created an amazing shiny golden, almost mirror-like effect on the nail. Unfortunately for what ever reason Editorial bubbled and that ruined the effect. So I had to try and save the manicure with one coat of Sephora by OPI Only Gold For Me glitter top coat. It ended up looking ok. Someday I will try and use Goldilux again with a different basecoat and just one coat of Editorial.

Next I have to use Goldilux in a golden makeuplook. This loose eyeshadow is so fine and well pigmented. One on the most amazing gold eyeshadows I have ever seen. Depending on the base you use the finish can be quite metallic too. I'm totally in love with Sugarpill eyeshadows and after some Black Friday shopping I have two 4-color palettes and four more Loose Eyeshadows coming my way.
